International Student Scholarships, Financial Aid & Cost of Attendance
A diverse international presence is important to 性视界's mission. The University is committed to assisting highly qualified international students in financing their education.
Cost of Attendance, Billing, Payment Information
- International students will be automatically considered for academic merit scholarships at the time of their admission. 性视界 is an NCAA Division III school; therefore, athletic scholarships are not offered. You can find the estimated cost of attendance by visiting our Student Financial Services web page.
- Before students are approved to receive an I-20, they must be able to certify financial support for the full annual cost of attendance while they are in the United States. Financial assistance is available; however, there are no full scholarships. Following their acceptance to 性视界, undergraduate students will be requested to provide additional information on their anticipated college expenses/budget, as determined from the reported information included in the International Student Financial Aid Application (ISFAA). Student loans are generally not available for international students. International students are eligible to work on campus as part of their student visa. The maximum amount a student can earn from a campus job is approximately $2,000 per year. That is the equivalent of working approximately eight hours each week.
- All undergraduate students are required to live on-campus in a 性视界 residence hall or apartment. You can learn more about Residence Life here.
- Bills are issued on a semester basis. Tuition, room, and board will be divided in half, with 50% due in July and 50% due in December. Monthly payment plans are also an option. When students make the commitment to attend 性视界, they are given more information about the different payment options. Learn more about Student Financial Services here.
- The annual health insurance fee will be billed to the fall semester. Learn more about international health insurance requirements here.
- Personal living expenses and books are not billed to the student account because they will be paid by the student directly.
Undergraduate International Family Financial Contribution Requirement
While 性视界 does seek to provide financial assistance to undergraduate international students, if a student financial needs are too high, that student's financial aid application may be declined and the scholarship allocated to a student whose financial need 性视界 can meet. Applicants demonstrating less than an expected budget of US $25,000 per year will not be considered. Those in need of high financial assistance are encouraged to pursue other schools where more financial assistance is offered.
Student Visa / Immigration Process
In order to study in the United States, international students will typically require a Form I-20. Generally, international students must show evidence of ability to pay all direct and indirect costs of attendance. Indirect costs include expenses not covered by tuition, room/board and fee charges.
